Speech Pathology for Children
At Nourish, Feed & Thrive, we are passionate about supporting young children to grow into confident communicators. Our speech pathology services are tailored to each child, recognising that every child develops communication skills at their own pace.
We provide caring, personalised speech therapy for a range of speech and early language challenges, with a strong focus on children in their early years.

Speech Sound Disorders
We support children with a variety of speech sound difficulties, helping them to speak more clearly and confidently so they can be understood by others.
Articulation Errors
Articulation difficulties occur when a child has trouble physically producing certain sounds (for example, saying “wabbit” instead of “rabbit”). We work gently and systematically to help children learn how to place their tongue, lips, and jaw to produce sounds accurately.
Phonological Processing Disorders
Phonological difficulties involve patterns of sound errors, such as leaving sounds off the ends of words or replacing one sound with another. Therapy focuses on helping children understand sound patterns and rules, which supports clearer speech and later literacy development.
Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)
Childhood apraxia of speech is a motor speech disorder where the brain has difficulty planning and coordinating the movements needed for speech. Our therapy for CAS is highly individualised, using evidence-based, movement-focused approaches to support consistency, accuracy, and confidence in speech.

A Holistic and Flexible Therapy Approach
Our team is dual trained in traditional speech pathology approaches and myofunctional therapy, allowing us to take a holistic view of communication development.
This means we can consider how speech sounds, oral motor skills, breathing, feeding, and overall muscle function work together.

By combining these approaches, we create flexible therapy plans that are responsive to your child’s unique needs, strengths, and learning style.
